We’re proud to be open at 111 N. Main St. in Urbana, offering a cozy place for good people to find good books. We provide a hand-picked selection of new and gently used books—plus fun bookish gifts and extras. We’re also building a variety of events, including local author visits and book clubs, to help bring readers together.

Maggie has been with SBN since opening and brings with her retail experience and a darling personality. She enjoys reading thrillers and romance novels. When she is not behind the counter at the Nook, you can find her playing pickleball and golf with her husband and enjoying walks around town!

Mary has been accused of having magical powers while trying to help people in the store and is one of the talented artists behind some of our stickers. Mary loves a good vampire story especially if that story includes Edward.

This bright young lady has joined the SBN team and we are loving every minute of it! When she is not being the mastermind behind our Young-Adult section, she is enjoying her high school years at Triad running cross country and track.
